for some US networks everything is about PC choices in casting and pushing certain agendas in story lines and for some series that is the only thing they are about.

absolutely, and they were suited for the role because they were physically fit and capable of doing what was required and thus the performance and characters are realistic and believable. Anyway, what about Aeon Flux
