For what's surely the final time out of 3, David Haye has retired from boxing. Only behind Evander Holyfield for becoming a heavyweight champion after unifying the cruiserweight division. Won't be as highly regarded at Heavyweight as he was at Cruiserweight upon which he's often considered as being in the top 3 of all time. Haye ran rampant through the division with two minor hiccups, the first to Thompson in which Haye blew out dramatically and the second to Jean-Marc Mormec whom pummeled Haye early on only for Haye to produce a stunning comeback to put Mormec away in his own backyard. That only helped get him right out there into the public eye. It's his grudge match against Welshman Enzo that really brought him to the attention of UK fans. In what was billed as a massive grudge match, Haye destroyed Enzo in a massively lopsided bout.
Haye goes out with a dire loss to Tony Bellew in which he looked like an old man. The style and power of Haye had gone, injury after injury reducing him further.
The upside is Haye started his own promotion which is notable for Free to air boxing. Highly rated Amateur fighter recently turned Pro, Joe Joyce, Bellator and British MMA superstar Michael 'Venom' Page also being apart of the stable of fighters.
