As an electrical engineer you no doubt have far more confidence for this kind of stuff

The fitted kitchen is over 30 years old so it's job I have done a number of times as I use the oven a lot. Pretty straight forward screwdriver work so most people could tackle it. Just remember to electrically isolate the oven. Mine's easy as it plugs into a standard 13A socket behind the unit it's in.
