I've had the DHL scam a couple of times. The only principle you need is to bin anything the slightest bit iffy. The trouble is that this only really works if it's obviously about something you don't recognise. It's the ones saying that HMRC is anxious to shove a pile of used fivers in your hand, and similar, that cause some people to abandon all caution.

I was caught in the great Yahoo email password hack of last year. My problem now is whether to wait for the cheap Viagra to arrive in the post before I start chatting to the gorgeous Russian blonde who seems to have the hots for me. Fortunately I've only ever used Yahoo for signing up to forums and similar. I only keep it because, as I say, I've got a few forums linked to it.

I know how to block email addresses (not that this is much use as they change all the time) and how to block scamming phone numbers. However I've recently had a scam text asking me to phone them and get the money for the damages for the crash that I don't remember having. What's the best way to block text messages?
