right... its working now, whats happened was i turned my firewall progrmme off which activated Windows firewall and for some reason activated the IEE 802.11b adapter thingy, so i turned windows firewall off and deleted Zone Alarm and it worked then!

ive also got rid of my DCHP now and made everything static!
