Yes you could nash I used to think that also but then I gave it a try and was amazed just how easy they were to make, honestly it's only flour, salt, butter, sugar and milk and then once you have mastered them you can add whatever you want or just leave it if you want plain scones. I now add whatever and if it does not work out lesson learnt
I need to say plain scones are lovely with pineapple jam.
