Yip I personally think that this GP should be consulting the hospital or whatever specialist/department in who first prescribed Arthur's current medication.

I know my GP does not mess with the medication my specialist/hospital has prescribed without consulting with them first and I would hate it if a new GP decided to make changes all of a sudden without seeking advice from either my old GP in whom know's me well or the hospital consultant who first issued my medication, but that's just me.
