Re: GP Stupidty

What happened to my Dad is he was put on different medications after his heart attack 9 years ago and only recently his GP changed his medication by lowering the number of tablets he takes with different ones that do the same job just half the tablets, plus I would assume the GP whom prescribed these meds were only following the hospitals advice at the time as previously stated by pip.

Advances in medication changes all the time and I would assume in the 6 years that you have been on your current meds that was the best option at the time for you but I would assume your medicine for your needs has came on leaps and bounds.

Or it could be the new GP is going for a cheaper option with the same results.
