Re: Google blocks Huawei access to Android updates after blacklisting

Nothing stopping anyone flashing updates or forcing them. Can force them directly via firmware finder. This will likely stop eventually though because Huawei would stop developing EMUI Android. Leaving just the first option of flashing ROMs which aren't official but can generally be well made. See CyanogenMod.

Is a shame really I was rather enjoying the rise of other manufacturers coming up the ranks. Completely understand the ban though. Allowing Huawei phones to run wild in the US would put everyone at the NSA out of work.
