First was amazing, the power rangers is in reference to the trailers for the second movie. The Jaegers in the first in no way act or move like that.
I'll just have to watch it but the trailers are really off putting. I thought they'd just continue on but it seems they're exploring new CGI and now it looks more power rangers or anime-esque.

My chief complaint about this movie trailer is what they have done to the Jaeger's. In the first movie, the Jaeger's were slow juggernauts, their movements conveyed the weight and enormity of the Jaeger's. They were titanic robots that took seconds to raise there arms over their head for power blows.
