Allowing for the tongue-in-cheek nature of that remark it is surprising just how often that old chestnut is raised.
It is a matter of fact that United have and always have had a higher ‘percentage ‘ of season ticket holders living at Manchester post codes than do Man City.
And even if they don’t sell the other 4,000 seats you can bet the attendance will be given as a full house.
