Someone called out an engineer because of a fault. Because he has concrete floors and lives in a terraced house, they overlaid the cable over the roof about ten years ago and the engineer said that he'd have to send someone else out.

When the second engineer arrived, he said that he couldn't do anything as VM no longer lay cable over roofs.

Is this correct? If it is, him and his wife may have to leave VM because they don't want cables all along the skirting boards and going through doors etc.
