Not looking good for Minority Report

While Blindspot was the first series to swing a back nine order, Minority Report is the first series to have its order cut in lieu of a cancellation.

Fox has trimmed the order for the feature film sequel by some three episodes, cutting the size of the first season (and likely series as a whole) to some 10 episodes. The original plan had been for sister studio 20th Century Fox Television to produce 13 episodes of Minority Report.

CBS is back in the Kevin James business.

The network has handed out a 13 episode series production commitment to an as-yet untitled family comedy series starring the internationally recognisably comedian. The project brings Kevin James back to the CBS fold after he starred in King Of Queens from 1998 to 2007.

The CBS comedy series, which is expected to air during the 2016 – 2017 broadcast season, stars Kevin James as a newly retired police officer looking forward to spending more quality time with his wife and three kids. Before too long, however, des realises that he faces more challenges at home than he ever did on the streets.
