We've not even seen the fifth series yet, but Call the Midwife has had a sixth series announced.
BBC director-general Tony Hall confirmed the new run today (December 10) during a screening of the upcoming fifth run premiere.

The Leftovers will not be making a sudden departure from the TV landscape: HBO has renewed the acclaimed yet low-rated drama for a third and final season.

Michelle Dockery's Good Behavior and Ellen Barkin's Animal Kingdom Get Series Orders at TNT

TNT will exhibit Good Behavior and visit an Animal Kingdom in 2016.

The basic cabler on Thursday greenlit the aforementioned dramas, which are headlined by Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey) and Ellen Barkin (Sea of Love), respectively.
Adapted by former Wayward Pines showrunner Chad Hodge from the Letty Dobesh books by Blake Crouch, Good Behavior is described as a “seductive thriller” following Letty (played by Dockery), a thief and con artist who, fresh out of the clink, learns of and sets out to derail a hitman’s assignment to kill a man’s wife.


Animal Kingdom stars Barkin as the matriarch of a Southern California family that is prone to indulgence and excess, funded by criminal activities. Scott Speedman (Felicity), Shawn Hatosy (Southland), Ben Robson (Vikings), Jake Weary (Pretty Little Liars), Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders), Daniella Alonso (Revolution) and Molly Gordon co-star.
