you aren't forced to pay for the stuff I watch, that is the point. Your subscription and channel package with Sky/Virgin is entirely optional and you can cancel it at any time. I, in contrast, don't have a choice and am legally required to pay for a service which I do not use at all. Which of the two is worse?
