Blimey I still have my Parker 25 too, from primary school. We were allowed to use fountain pens as a reward for mastering cursive. It has the aerometric converter and hasn't been inked up for years so I wouldn't fancy trying to fill It without fitting a new one. I think it's the proprietary Parker fitting mind.

Not keen on Montblanc pens mainly because for the price you're getting nothing special in terms of materials. Check out the Namiki Maki-e or Urushi lacquer pens. You're actually getting something precious and unique for your 4 figures and I find that the Jap nibs are far superior on the whole.
