EXCELSIOR!

A shame to lose him, but he'll never be forgotten. He certainly had a good run, and deserved it. I think my fave cameo was in Age Of Ultron:

Veteran: I gotta have me some o' that!

Thor: Oh, no, no, no. See, this, this was aged for a thousand years in barrels made from the wreck of Gronhill's fleet. It is not meant for mortal men.

Veteran: Neither was Omaha Beach, blondie! Quit tryin' to scare us, c'mon!

(One, very small, shot later, our veteran is utterly drunk...)

Loved it.
