Nobody is giving valid, practical answers to what should've been done instead. The nearest thing to be suggested is that somehow, their guns, batons, and pepper spray(if they had it) were to be of some use. How? Shoot him? Beat him unconscious? Four men v one unarmed and handcuffed man. Not rocket science on how he could be restrained without killing him!

Like Pierre, I'm at a loss to understand why you choose to defend the indefensible.
