He was the youngest there and the closet to his age was a 19 year old.

He may not get the job but it will have been a good learning experience and will have given him a good idea of the interview process. A more normal one to one interview will be a lot easier next time now he has seen how things work. Having said that I hope he gets offered a job. Fingers crossed.
