I have a 16 plate Mondeo so just missed the upgrade to Sync 3. Some later models have 2 USB ports, mine only one but I get CD player too.

Where I like the USB even more now is that I can put all my music on one stick, converting FLAC to MP3, and then have playlists. I used to have 3 sticks, one general, one Christmas and one with sermons I use on solo journeys. I'd swap as needed. Now I can just play the relevant playlist without needing to change stick. The USB ports in Mondeo are in the centre arm rest so nicely hidden away.
