When Tony Blair moved the Labour Party toward the center, they got two of the largest majorities ever. Even Gordon Brown got a larger majority than Theresa May has ever achieved. Jeremy Corbyn has never had a general election majority.

I would argue most people are a combination of left and right. These people are not really being served by either the Tories or Labour, at the moment.
