Many of us watched them during our teenage years and people of a certain age might remember when Neighbours was only shown during the day and iirc it was Michael Grade's grand-daughter who suggested moving it to a tea time slot, which is what happened at the start of 1988 and it became a huge hit.

Incidentally, the first edition of Neighbours was shown on the day that the BBC launched its daytime television service - 27th October 1986.
