Not sure it was meant in that context. Definitely more a reference to blatant diving and handballs etc.

This will be re-applied and likely now enforced come next season.
Basically if it can't be rectified with the naked eye then no offside is given.

The other issue with VAR - It's only ever as good as the people sat behind the screens. It can absolutely get something horribly wrong. World Cup had some stinkers. It's a penalty, we had rule changes to clarify it and with VAR they still got it double wrong. I mean the Ref missing it isn't much better.
