Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Old Boy do you live in cloud cuckoo land ?
Both Sky and BT paid the Premier League just shy of £4.5 billion for the new 3 year deal.
Breaking that down it's around £1.5 billion a year or £125 million a month.
At a £125 million a month a Premier League streaming subscription package priced at £20 a month would require more than 6 million people taking it and that's just to recoup what Sky and BT currently pay for the rights.
As Raider999 has also correctly said the Premier League would also then have massive costs such as pundits , dealing with subscriptions , distribution costs , bandwith , marketing the list goes on.
