Lack of apps, freely available on many popular devices, will not determine whether Virgin sinks. it is a pay TV provider and that will determine it's future. Sky has neither Netflix or Amazon and survives quite well, aided by the fact that they also provide a streaming service. VM are not in a position to do that.
