I see the media are all over this again today, many using alarmist quotes from the 'big business' sector that is now struggling.
First it was a cheap labour shortage, then there weren't enough shop workers, quickly followed by no drivers to haul the products (presumably still stuck in fields) to the supermarkets (where there was nobody to stack shelves), and now it's a CO2 shortage.
The chase for big profits has suddenly come to a grinding halt . . oh dear, what a shame, never mind.
Screw the supermarkets, buy from the small independents that value customers, our local butcher is doing a roaring trade
