I think you may be confusing the Grauniad with the News Group Newspapers (Sun/News of the World/etc.) and the Trinity Mirror Group (The Mirror).

Strangely enough, Sky, the Sun newpaper, the Times, and most other media organisations advertise their media jobs in the Guardian as well*, but no one accuses them of being "handwringing lefties"...

*because the Guardian is the only national newspaper with a Media Jobs section
