Moving from ntl to BT - advice please

Hi I have been using ntl broadband for years and now switching to BT.

Obviously I have got used to "always on" and don't want to have to log in each time.

I want wireless to work as it does now - I have a Sweex cable router with ethernet and wifi.

Do you think I will need a complete replacement for this based on ADSL or is there a way to connect from the modem BT will provide to the router I already have? If I need to replace, any recommendations?

Also, are there any other things I should consider while I switch providers?

Thanks, David.
