I'd check the WiFi channel(s) - I had one HELL of a time trying to figure out why my V6 was losing WiFi every now and then.
...Turned out that it didn't support DFS channels and it was simply dropping connection every time my router auto-switched!
The above would make since, owing to the fact that you can see other local wireless networks.
