Re: Knife Crime

How SPECIFICALLY would even a ten-fold increase in police officers solve anything? Take any incident and SPECIFY how an increase would have changed that incident.

Criminals of whatever kind, do not sit around, not committing any crimes, see the drop in police officers and therefore decide to go out and commit a crime as a result.

Diane Abbott: I sent my son to private school so he wouldn't end up in a gang
I knew what could happen to my son if he was sent to the wrong school and got in with the wrong crowd.
I realised they were subjected to peer *pressure and when that happens it’s very hard for a mother to save her son.
Once a black boy is lost to the world of gangs it’s very hard to get them back and I was genuinely very fearful of what could happen.

Trevor Phillips is calling for ministers to discuss why a worryingly large number of violent crimes are committed by black teens on other black youngsters.
It comes after a series of stabbings in London and Birmingham in the past week involving a large proportion of black youths.
