Sadly, you are in a 12 month contract. IIRC under the distance selling regulations, you are allowed to cancel within the first 30 days, but continued acceptance of service is deemed to be acceptance of the terms of the contract. However, I am not a lawyer, so it's entirely possible I am wrong.

I don't *think* there is anything stopping you downgrading though.
