Yes I got these figures from the link which you gave, so I have "checked the facts".............
I don't claim that cable is the BEST, but it is better for a lot where ADSL is a joke.

Added with the fact that the cables don't come out from the exchange to your house in a perfect straight line. Then there still is the issue of ****ty noisy lines.
