It's rated at 65W I imagine the fan uses the most electric. There are no radiators - no room for them. Just a gas fire in the living room and a gas heater in the bedroom that doesn't work.

Who me? I've changed the tap washers before - no probs. And the taps were working fine afterwards. I think it's just the age of the taps - not in very good condition.
