Dyson for me as well 'DC07 all floors' can't see the point of going over the same bit of carpet / floor twice so I got a gud un, although I never used to look at it that way when I wasn't single
As far as emptying it goes, too easy really, just put the removable cylinder in a carrier bag and pull the little lever, no dust, job done.
