Depends on the size of your house, what type of flooring you have, and any pets etc.

maybe it is the turbo brush head that makes a difference, but when we 'upgraded' our DC02 to a DC05 I found the standard head was really hard to push along, because the suction was so fierce, but I didn't try it with the turbo brush head - too late now, my son has the DC05, we've got the old DC02, we gave him, back, complete with turbo brush
