I would have to agree, why did you enter in to a contract when you knew you would not be able to honour it?

Credit reference agencies can no longer blacklist a property only the person who has run up the debt however it does not stop the mail and the people knocking on the door of the new tennants!

Whenever you return to the UK your going to find it hard to obtain credit!

Why not downgrade all your services to the min pack available, infact if you have all three services you can remove two of them, try canceling the phone and tv but keep the broadband active on the 1MB package!

Yes you can do this, I found this out by calling NTL when I was on my 10th month, I was told I can remove services but I would have to keep at least one in order to keep my account active until the 12 months is up!

Your not allowed to cancel your account untill the 12 months is up if you do then you have to pay the outstanding amount!
