darklord if you knew you were going to France in September why did you take out a 12 month contract for service? Once you move if you haven't paid the bills then it's the next tenant that ends up with a bad credit rating, debt collectors and possible court action to sort out.
Call NTL, explain you are moving to a new property and that the landlord will not allow NTL installations. Get a letter from him stating this and offer to send it recorded delivery to NTL to prove you cannot take their service at the new location.
