It's probably worth considering that in a normal season, this would have been the player's holiday time when they would have jetted off to some far flung sandy beach with their families. Since those hols will have been curtailed, it's only reasonable the wives were there.
And how much was really spent. Probably a drop in the ocean really. I thought it was reported they all flew out there on a budget airline?
