Re: Moving Broadband from upstairs bedroom to living room
Hi there,
Just thought I'd let you know how I got on...! Really easy is the best answer and I didn't even have to buy additional cable. The main cable from the street was split in the brown box on the outside of the house, the white box on the inside in the living room had an adapter where the main line comes in and it has 1 thread which the tv cable runs from. I just swapped these two over, pinched some cable from the upstairs white box that connected to the modem and hey presto job done, it also means it should be just as easy to swap back when I need... Thanks for all the advice, I would have been gutted if I had paid £50 for an engineer to do a 5 minute job.
