Well of course I don't even know if they are aware of the fault! The line says there's an outage in M24 and OL9, now I'm M18 but I do know often these outage messages DO apply to me even though the postcode doesn't match exactly.

However, for all I know the cable might have been cut or the cabinet damaged. But if they think I'm waiting for 20 minutes on an 0870 number to find out, they can guess again.

I am away for the next couple of days, but it's still down when I return (which is unlikely) then I shall move to someone else forthwith. Given that I work for a broadband supplier that isn't going to be hard.
