well to be honest I have no recollection of that game.I dont think a poor performance though is as bad as blatent stupidity we all have off days

But Rooney didn't do much while he was on the pitch, Portugal shut him down at ever opportunity, I seriously believe that it would still have gone to penalties and we'd still have lost. |
That takes men to shut him down without rooney these men could do other things so if rooney kept them busy then others could have crept through
