Surely a dedicated cable network with far less users and therefore less traffic should cope much better with things and provide faster and more stable speeds?
I've had cable broadband since 2000, and in that time the network has gone titsup a total of three times, one of which was tonight. In all cases it's been fixed the same evening without me having to do anything.

I realise this isn't the case in all areas, however, it's not true that everyone gets a bad service. I wouldn't be with them if that was case as there are plenty of good ADSL providers out there.
