That was a class match.
I was watching it (I kind of support Croatia after England) and i thought... oh no not 9 men... and then realised Poll hadn't actually sent him off despite showing him the 2nd yellow. Simunic was walkin off and Kovac stopped him and he went back on
Before arguing with Poll who had probably realised (after play has resumed, the ref has finalised his decisions) in the last minute after a disallowed goal (for Aus) and getting his 3rd yellow card (and red).
Would have been funny if he'd scored the winner.
Anyway, 7 Aussie squad members have Croatian ancestry and 3 Croats (Simunic, Seric and Didulica - reserve keeper) were born in Aus. Sweet...
To be fair, I think the match should be void because a player was not sent off and should have been. (Not because it gives Croatia a 2nd chance lol)
