I dont find it immoral to not seed a torrent since its either illegal or the legal torrents tend to have permenant fast seeds on them anyway.

Do you also need to seed 24:7 to get 1:1 ratio?

nntp/ftp/http are all much lighter on resourse usage then p2p in both that they require much less upload bandwidth (acks only) and lower pps.
What I fnd immoral is me using my "unlimited" broadband however I see fit, only to find there are the tiniest of tiny bits of smallprint even daring to mention these restrictions.

I uploaded a LOT at one point, and I figure that if NTL could only ever supply me with roughly 40% of my supposed speed, then I couldn't be bothered caring whether the already oversubscribed line got any worse.
