I was upgraded to 4mb today, well kinda. I have an ntl ambit 100 cable modem and this is what I get.

1st 512K took 1437 ms = 356.3 KB/sec, approx 2936 Kbps, 2.87 Mbps
2nd 512K took 1516 ms = 337.7 KB/sec, approx 2783 Kbps, 2.72 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1515 ms = 338 KB/sec, approx 2785 Kbps, 2.72 Mbps
4th 512K took 1500 ms = 341.3 KB/sec, approx 2812 Kbps, 2.75 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 2829 Kbps, 2.77 Mbps

Hope ntl can maybe update the config to increase the speed.

How do I reboot a ambit 100 cable modem.
