2GB cards should theoretically work in any SD device, but unfortunately they don't. Like for example my MDA compact PDA/phone which has a SD card slot that only works with just one brand of 2GB SD card (as far as I know). I think it is because they did not follow the SD specificaions to the T.

Higher speed SD cards are more picky with which devices that they work with and you would probably want to get one of these for those large piccies so that you don't have to wait for it to save while you take the next one.

So be careful! It is probably best to google for the model of your camera and the brand of SD card that you would like to purchase and see if anyone else has any good/bad results with that certain combination.

I recommend looking for one of the 150x speed ones. They're not that much more expensive. I have heard good things about the ADATA brand, but recommend you google it in combination with your camera first.

The Sandisk 2GB SD card which was mentioned previously is probably half the speed or even less, but if you want to check compatibility with your camera look on their website linked here

Hope that helps.
