Yes I do play the older iterations of games, just because I have SSX3 I will still play Tricky, I still play HotD2 despite having HotD3. As for your example, Max Payne never appealed to me, and I also didn`t like the handling model in PGR so I stuck with its prequel on the DC. A well done sequel doesn`t supplant the original game, it compliments it.
