like you (or someone from the admin side) asked NTL certain questions, this is one that certain customers need to know.
so it may be months before I get this speed upgrade, after all I have been with NTL for about 10 years now as a customer and about 7 years with their internet, so I think it is only fair that they upgrade people like me at the same time, after all I have paid a lot of money to NTL, but not treated as a valued customer!

well this is just not a fair system then is it, let their customers know (however) that they are implementing a speed increase but certain people will not get it cause they are not fixing up modems in time for it.
I would think that they would have upgraded the modems configuration files before upgrading the speeds so that all of their customers can beneift from the speed increase.
