Well, after seeing some folks calling NTL and getting somewhere I phoned them myself to see if my area had been upgraded to 4 meg yet.

The girl insisted I am on 4 meg now instead of 2meg and that it's "only up to 4meg" blah blah de blah. SO< either she didn't have the correct info. Or NTL are incapable of even supplying 4 megs to me - which explains why my 10 meg speed was diabolical. It beggars belief to be honest. And for all those defending NTL - ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£25 for a 2meg connection in this day and age is a bloody rip off.
