I'm not entirely sure if I'm due an upgrade or not. All these upgrades companies have been doing in recent years, this dash for speed, it's all a bit ruddy silly quite honestly.

When I left ntl I downgraded from 3mb to 2mb as I lost staff discount, and although the speed did change as it shows up in online speed tests, the actual difference to my browsing experience was - nil!

Therefore if goes back to 4mb the difference will still be nil.

There is just no point to it all...I pay ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£24.99 for 2mb, it's good value, it never lets me down and frankly I'd rather they didn't mess with it to be honest. I'd rather leave it as it is. They can keep their 4mb. I worry that this constant messing with things will eventually screw something up and break it.
